Hello friends!</div>
<span style="color: #454545; font-family: "uictfonttextstylebody"; font-size: 17px;">It’s been almost a year since my last post and it seems when life gets busy blogging is one of the first things I let go. Technology has played a big part as the demise of my laptop coupled with the blogger app for the iPhone no longer being supported has meant it’s really difficult for me to blog with ease. </span><span style="color: #454545; font-family: "uictfonttextstylebody"; font-size: 17px;">But you’re here for the craft so let’s draw a line under 2018 and I’ll show you what I’ve been doing this month. </span><br />
<div style="caret-color: rgb(69, 69, 69); color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
<br /></div>
<div style="caret-color: rgb(69, 69, 69); color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
I love Instagram and I’ve chosen to participate in the #stitch9challenge where we chose 9 projects to focus on for 2019. These are mine:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ZwMGy6Qt4bk/XEjLvukOr7I/AAAAAAAAEYs/kR7c5crZUicoo7uB5qSpHroewDQdYkqNACLcBGAs/s1600/1911CA00-9D92-4A6D-B577-6EFB4E33DFC3.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ZwMGy6Qt4bk/XEjLvukOr7I/AAAAAAAAEYs/kR7c5crZUicoo7uB5qSpHroewDQdYkqNACLcBGAs/s320/1911CA00-9D92-4A6D-B577-6EFB4E33DFC3.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="caret-color: rgb(69, 69, 69); color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
<br /></div>
<div style="caret-color: rgb(69, 69, 69); color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
I even have a finish! This is Merry String by Lizzie Kate, stitched in mostly called for threads on a piece of random 28ct opal from sparklies. I loved stitching this and that’s probably why it was my 2nd finish in January. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-F8cXitplcEY/XEjMEjBM93I/AAAAAAAAEY0/v-tS3ticZ6oFaWpufOWq6jnR2HyPFcQbACLcBGAs/s1600/89A65558-918D-47D3-AB6B-9F75D8C9BF25.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-F8cXitplcEY/XEjMEjBM93I/AAAAAAAAEY0/v-tS3ticZ6oFaWpufOWq6jnR2HyPFcQbACLcBGAs/s320/89A65558-918D-47D3-AB6B-9F75D8C9BF25.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="caret-color: rgb(69, 69, 69); color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
I also finished my Lizzie Kate flip it stamp for January stitched in a mix of called for DMC and random Jodyri threads, fussy cut to best work for the design. February’s is the plan for Saturday.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sNcCpsqq290/XEjQBnMuvuI/AAAAAAAAEZM/wlq6885ohtoP7bwKnqU1m4qEctFCN9bDACEwYBhgL/s1600/9A7469E9-7B8D-4388-A7BE-53F05A04FCD4.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sNcCpsqq290/XEjQBnMuvuI/AAAAAAAAEZM/wlq6885ohtoP7bwKnqU1m4qEctFCN9bDACEwYBhgL/s320/9A7469E9-7B8D-4388-A7BE-53F05A04FCD4.jpeg" width="240" /></a></div>

<div style="caret-color: rgb(69, 69, 69); color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
My two other wips for this month are Prairie Schooler’s Where there are bees, stitched on random fabric flair 28ct with the called for DMC. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="caret-color: rgb(69, 69, 69); color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
Main Street by Country Cottage Needlecraft is the last project for this month and if anyone has watched my flosstube will know that I’m turning it into a Gilmore Girls themed version. </div>
<div style="caret-color: rgb(69, 69, 69); color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">

The flower shop has remained that but with 1000 yellow daisies. The bookstore has become Doose’s market and the gazebo needed very few changes at all! Here is what the original looked like from the CCN website...<br />

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">It's been a busy old stitching month. Would you believe I didn't stitch on one gifted piece, hence no GG check in, but boy, did I get to work on those wips! You can see my 18 in 2018 chosen projects <a href="https://ramblingsofabiscornuaddict.blogspot.co.uk/2018/01/year-of-wip-2018.html">here</a>., so let's speed ahead to my check in post for <a href="http://measi.net/measiblog/wipocalypse_main/2018-wipocalypse-info-page/">Measi's Wipocalypse</a></span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">I started stitching the London scene by Jody Rice of Satsuma Street. featured in Cross Stitch Crazy issue 202. <span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; display: inline; float: none; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px;">They are mini versions of her pretty little series. </span>It was a bit like mastermind...I've started so I'll finish! Hubby loves it and wants me to stitch the others from the magazine too. I've finished it for now as a canvas finish.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Stone Street Stitchworks is fast becoming one of my favourite designers and this was a little freebie from their Facebook group called Sweet Heart. It is stitched in a 4 ply variegated thread from 21st Century Yarns and framed in a little thrift store frame. </span><br />

I've almost finished it. Here's where I was Sunday. December is now coming along nicely too! I'm gonna sneak a finish today as I need the Stitch From Stash credit!</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
A<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">s I said in my last blog, I'm taking part in the Year of WIPS as part of Soulful Stitching on the book of face. The challenge is to have a minimum of 15 wips of any size and complete at least half. This will also tie in nicely with <a href="http://measi.net/measiblog/wipocalypse_main/2018-wipocalypse-info-page/">Wipocalypse 2018 hosted by Measi</a> which I'm doing again this year.</span></div>

I work as an office administrator and I'm half way through a diploma in business admin. I've been stitching for 13 years and have other crafty hobbies too Jewellery making is one that has been a big thing in 2017 for me and I've loved beading with my 7 year old. - some of which has featured from time to time in my floss tube videos - I'm Kerry in stitches there and Kerry_in_stitches on Instagram. </span></div>

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">So as you can see I only intend to carry 2 forward into 2019, I am also doing a year of starts which includes 18 new starts for the year. These will be mostly small or medium charts from my collection of Bent Creek, Heart in Hand, Trilogy and Lizzie Kate and hopefully all the Main Street Series too. Most of these are partially kitted too so Stitch from Stash hosted by Stephanie (OhSewCrafty) (but on Facebook) is completely do-able too.</span><br />

... probably not, but I'm here anyway!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
Hello dear friends,<br />
<br />
It's been 2 months since I blogged and I'm sorry I didn't post link ups for theme-tas-stitch, life has been so hectic due to work, family, college and all the other things that take up time in the run up to Christmas. I hardly stitched during November as I decided to do the School Christmas Fair and did my usual thing of making 100 felties in a month. (+40-odd pairs of earrings). I did make time for Flosstube - I guess that is still a new and shiny thing so still holds my attention, and is easier than blogging believe it or not!<br />

So on to the end of year round up, Here is my 2017 plan I posted in January...<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">

- Jubilee Heart <span style="color: purple;">Started 30.03.17 - finished 07.08.17</span><br />
<span style="color: purple;"><br /></span>
So I wanted 17 in 2017 and to only carry 3 wips from the list into 2018 - so that's a win!!!!<br />
<br />
I also had an additional 55 starts and finished 46 of them to that brings my total of finishes to 59 for 2017. I couldn't be happier! So what happens to the 10 (including Elizabeth Shepard) they will be carried forward for YEAR OF WIPS...<br />
<br />
This is part of the Soulful Stitchers group on Facebook and the challenge is to have at least 15 wips and to finish at least half so until the challenge begins on 18th January I'll be starting a few new projects to get me up to the 15 I need. I'll do a post in January to show the projects I've chosen.<br />
<br />
So here are a few pics of my stitching since I last blogged:<br />
I finished Plum Street Samplers - 12 days of Christmas - stitched on 25 count over 1 with DMC 321 & 470 and FFO'd it. It is my absolute favourite finish of the year. </div>

This month's theme was...<br />
<br />
<div>
<span style="color: #cc0000; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: medium;"><b>Opulent October -</b></span><br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
<span style="color: blue; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><b>Break out the bling - stitch with beads, charms, metallics or on sparkly fabric.</b></span></blockquote>
A bit of a challenge for me this one as I have lots of projects that could fall into this but aren't necessarily blinged up yet!<br />
<br />
I was reading my post from last month's TTS and realised that I didn't actually show the tree keeper from The Drawn Thread. It was stitched on some random fabric that was actually the piece from the kit up next. It has way more beads than were called for, but hey, it's a Christmas ornament it needs bling!</div>
<div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-j8e87QcXS84/WetFthc3ZfI/AAAAAAAAEPc/nE0UOuVBGx83h2qKfDb70otDdb0m9H7pwCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image--1724261123.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-j8e87QcXS84/WetFthc3ZfI/AAAAAAAAEPc/nE0UOuVBGx83h2qKfDb70otDdb0m9H7pwCHMYCw/s320/blogger-image--1724261123.jpg" width="316" /></a></div>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The fabric was from a cover kit from Crosstitcher in 2015 I think. The kit was enough to stitch one of the houses but I liked all three and had some nice natural linen from Sew it all grab bag and the kit floss was actually enough to do all three houses so that's what I did. I substituted the single cross stitches for beads to show snowfall. The little Christmas tree has gold beads and the snowman has petite black beads for coal.<br />
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-wGcWYhH97VM/WetJSCPcSMI/AAAAAAAAEPo/Ka9OkDAxE6M-mx75KW_uonfnE3Huk4kLgCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-809395684.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="256" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-wGcWYhH97VM/WetJSCPcSMI/AAAAAAAAEPo/Ka9OkDAxE6M-mx75KW_uonfnE3Huk4kLgCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-809395684.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
My last bit of bling was on Plum Street Samplers 12 days of Christmas and I finally put in five gold rings. It wasn't as hard to stitch on 25ct with metallics over 1 as I thought it would be.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br /></div>
<div>
I also made some needleminders from buttons and pendants I've had for a fair while. If that owl isn't opulent then I don't know what is!<br />
<br /></div>

Next month's theme is:<br />
<br />
<span style="color: #cc0000; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: medium;"><b>No X November - </b></span><br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
<span style="color: blue; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><b>Blackwork, Hardanger, pulled thread or speciality stitches the choice is yours or maybe it's time to tackle the backstitch on some of those almost finished projects.</b></span></blockquote>
I have more ideas for this month than stitching hours in the day so we'll just have to see how well I do. I plan to start the black work lady from walks, finish the half stitch on my giraffe silhouette and have a new Christmas start as part of #santasundayxs on Instagram. November is a very busy month for us so no X November could well be no stitching at all Eek. I'm back on the PTA at school so I could end up making felties all of November too...</div>

I also had a good few days on my Just Nan humbug - spring frills. It's such a pretty pattern but is far more intensive than you think given its size. It is so pretty though. This was a giveaway win eons ago from Carolyn. </div>

I've been doing this next one as part of <b>#santasundayxs</b> on Instagram. (You can follow me there as kerry_in_stitches) I've really struggled for motivation with this one over the last year or more, so it has been so nice to really fall back in love with it and just spend one day a week working on it. I think I have about 650 stitches left to do so I am aiming for a finish next weekend. It's 12 days of Christmas by Plum Street samplers and was a free design from them in 2015. It also uses some threads left over from a gifted kit.</div>

In other news I have been making Flosstube videos and you can find me on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hH5-QUH_8yc&t=830s" target="_blank">YouTube as Kerry in stitches.</a> I'd love if you are a Flosstube watcher to go over and have a little look. I've done three videos now and do them fortnightly. I'd say that's the reason I'm not blogging but to be honest it's more that every spare minute is spent stitching at the moment. </div>

I have been fortunate to have won a couple of giveaways recently. I won two Nora Corbett charts from <a href="http://tiffstitch.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">Tiff</a> and I also won the Friday freebie from Crosstitch crazy which was fabric, a chart and threads. </div>

<br />
I'm sorry for the lack of posting and blog reading over the last few weeks. A bit of ill health put pay to the stitchy bug for a few weeks, but here is this month's Theme-Tas-Stitch.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

In my last post I talked about my plans for September smalls. I planned to do a whole host of of the free charts from <a href="http://www.drawnthread.com/freecharts.html" target="_blank">The Drawn Thread</a> and have a couple of starts of big projects. So get ready for a whole host of photos cos the girl done good! I've not had chance to make up all of them but here they are...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-EdRMOr3ReKM/WcQcxgxFWmI/AAAAAAAAENs/JaHNkeYE_4sAjXyKh7yRZ3HC6e1YxrMRQCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image--1010269171.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-EdRMOr3ReKM/WcQcxgxFWmI/AAAAAAAAENs/JaHNkeYE_4sAjXyKh7yRZ3HC6e1YxrMRQCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image--1010269171.jpg" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
My favourite is tree keeper<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
And I've made up Autumn and pumpkin keepers ready for my Autumn display. The Autumn keeper is hanging on the picture frame and the pumpkin keeper is in the middle. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-i2mTYtaT5LI/WcQdFbhXCOI/AAAAAAAAEN0/2Z0z8ovSe-Uco_iMqQfad665Gp49byh7QCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image--391270800.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-i2mTYtaT5LI/WcQdFbhXCOI/AAAAAAAAEN0/2Z0z8ovSe-Uco_iMqQfad665Gp49byh7QCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image--391270800.jpg" /></a></div>
<div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
I also was chatting on Instagram about blackwork and decided to stitch a couple of biscornu. I had a couple of tiny scraps of the fabric left so I stitched two tiny biscornu too and they measure less than an inch each.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/--jXUSpTmqV0/WcQdKiVLeyI/AAAAAAAAEN4/TIOZuStVUkkXgNnYDX0aVPy8Wvb8zMZRgCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-1650673505.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/--jXUSpTmqV0/WcQdKiVLeyI/AAAAAAAAEN4/TIOZuStVUkkXgNnYDX0aVPy8Wvb8zMZRgCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-1650673505.jpg" /></a></div>

<br />
I ran out of fray check and I'm too lazy to baste the edges of my fabric so I haven't started Elizabeth Shepard yet, but I did get a small start on the City Landscape from WOXS 251. I'm loving this and plan to stitch the current page of the chart which is basically 2 more houses and the tops of the two skyscrapers behind. By that point the fray check should be here and I will start ES!!</div>

I don't have a clue about this one so I'll have to come up with something. </div>

<br />
We last left our intrepid stitcher on a quest to complete all the full crosses on Giraffe silhouette and wondering...<br />
<br />
If the 900 ish stitches on the tree would be a stitch to far?<br />
If the quarter stitches would be a fraction too much?<br />
If the 3 shades at the bottom would brown our intrepid stitcher off?<br />
<div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /></div>
So to find out the answers it's time for...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4TDzADujKNk/WPjVNpZ16RI/AAAAAAAAEAg/w9CVkvtSxIk-I2qQ0PHs5C2klg0x_l0GgCPcBGAYYCw/s1600/Theme-tas-Stitch.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="320" data-original-width="262" height="200" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4TDzADujKNk/WPjVNpZ16RI/AAAAAAAAEAg/w9CVkvtSxIk-I2qQ0PHs5C2klg0x_l0GgCPcBGAYYCw/s200/Theme-tas-Stitch.jpg" width="163" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #cc0000; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: medium; font-weight: bold;">Animalia August -</span></span></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: blue; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Give some love to those projects with our furry or feathered friends.</span></div>
</blockquote>
This has been lots of fun. I've had some really good stitching time lately. I'm stitching every chance I get and this is meaning I'm getting a lot done.<br />
<br />
I've also been working on Maia Giraffe Silhouette. Here is where I was last week...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-5jRvyEOye6E/WZCW8F181TI/AAAAAAAAELM/p7Np6oPcRQ4p_zOb-ZTC-kZYg5BwwjyQwCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-636071753.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-5jRvyEOye6E/WZCW8F181TI/AAAAAAAAELM/p7Np6oPcRQ4p_zOb-ZTC-kZYg5BwwjyQwCHMYCw/s320/blogger-image-636071753.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
I set myself the challenge of trying to complete all the full crosses in the kit which is basically all the black and 3 shades of brown you can see in the cover picture from the kit. It was about another 1600-1800 stitches. This is where I got to...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-tEvBr2C1weE/WZvgsWFSmXI/AAAAAAAAEMQ/hVKARtPvaQkCXOCiLt3JqA3UJmUyImR8ACHMYCw/s640/blogger-image--1583109101.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-tEvBr2C1weE/WZvgsWFSmXI/AAAAAAAAEMQ/hVKARtPvaQkCXOCiLt3JqA3UJmUyImR8ACHMYCw/s320/blogger-image--1583109101.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Oh yes, no challenge is too big! (except for publishing a blog post on time)<br />
<br />
I did all the browns, completed the tree and second giraffe and even managed a couple of rows of the burgundy and dark red half stitches. The colour is a bit off in this picture. The fabric is a solid red and the browns darker in real life.<br />
<br />
I shared my Mill Hill Squirrelly kit in my GG post, but I FFo'd this week and here it is...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Uvxjdbm_t7o/WZvfmi6y6II/AAAAAAAAEMI/ZBTk5_19GtEI_abWeKjjMbAI_IlOx47iACHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-242565300.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Uvxjdbm_t7o/WZvfmi6y6II/AAAAAAAAEMI/ZBTk5_19GtEI_abWeKjjMbAI_IlOx47iACHMYCw/s320/blogger-image-242565300.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
My last little creature is this one...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-LMp4MxEzxS8/WZIlTd-uKcI/AAAAAAAAEL4/pC5gx3-UDRge-aOHyNiini1fbaPuwS4qgCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-1705123775.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="192" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-LMp4MxEzxS8/WZIlTd-uKcI/AAAAAAAAEL4/pC5gx3-UDRge-aOHyNiini1fbaPuwS4qgCHMYCw/s200/blogger-image-1705123775.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<a href="http://tiffstitch.blogspot.co.uk/">Tiff</a> suggested that we could stitch dragons too, I'm sure nothing to do with all the dragon wips she has! So I decided to stitch a little one to make a needleminder with as it's about an inch. It was in a chart book from crazy and is by Durene Jones.<br />
<br />
So what did you stitch this month. Here's the linky and don't forget to visit everyone if you can.<br />

Would you believe I currently only have one small other than my calendar stitch, I'm also down to 6 wips in total! A while back I stitched a couple of Drawn Thread keepers which are from their free designs section on the website. There are Autumn and Winter ones (no summer though) so I am going to start them and do Rosebud and Pearl for summer. I plan to do the Snow, Santa and Tree keeps too for Christmas ornies too. So September smalls will be 7 projects and big news is that I will be starting Elizabeth Shepard sampler as it is made of small motifs and my cityscape from WOXS as it has lots of small houses! Basically if I can shoehorn a project in I will be as I have ideas for all of my wips. Eek!<br />
<br />
Happy stitching!<br />

<br />
In an attempt to get back on track with the blogging and not post 3 posts in 48 hours again, I'm preparing my GG post now! Thank you to everyone who commented on those posts and I'm sorry I haven't responded to everyone.<br />
<br />
Gifted Gorgeousness is hosted by Jo and I'm sure you all know all about it by now!<br />

<br />
August has been good to me so far with 6 finishes and big progress on 2 others, but here are my GG finishes, Apologies now, they all fit at least 2 other SAL's so expect to see them again and again!<br />
<br />
<u>Tea and cakes 14ct - Finished</u><br />
Fabric and border floss were gifts and the chart was a free design from Lakeside Needlecraft by Durene Jones. The backstitch was a killer!<br />
<div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<u>Anchor Sampler - Finished</u><br />
A gift from my In laws and finished on 28th July after 3 years.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<u>Mill Hill Squirrelly - Finished</u><br />
A gift from Steph and finished this week. It just needs cutting out and a magnet adding.<br />
<div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3UYVp6f4BEo/WZCYvWezFCI/AAAAAAAAELc/pWgipod-7HsLClDqKe4PzCRkj9T_O6U6QCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-99157633.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3UYVp6f4BEo/WZCYvWezFCI/AAAAAAAAELc/pWgipod-7HsLClDqKe4PzCRkj9T_O6U6QCHMYCw/s320/blogger-image-99157633.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
So on to progress - I was really struggling with motivation for the Maia Giraffe Silhouette that my Mum brought me at least 5 years ago. I love the design, it's not hard but 550 black stitches took it's toll and I decided that I'd do 50 stitches a day so I would have a finish by the end of the year, anyhow, I picked it up yesterday to put in my 50 stitches on the black and thought might as well finish the row it's only another 32 stitches, that leaves me with 1 more row of black and odd ones on the row above that. By the end of the row, I was actually enjoying it and just carried on! I actually got 500 stitches done yesterday! So my plan is to do a week on it and then rotate it. My aim is to have all the full crosses done as about 2/3 of the piece are half stitches so that is about 1600-1800 full stitches to do this week - basically all the black and 3 shades of brown in the bottom third.</div>
<div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3_hxEvuYo2Q/WZCY09H6mPI/AAAAAAAAELg/I3N_AM9TbS0KA_GJlXU2MFGcvbuf2CCDQCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-1698179193.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3_hxEvuYo2Q/WZCY09H6mPI/AAAAAAAAELg/I3N_AM9TbS0KA_GJlXU2MFGcvbuf2CCDQCHMYCw/s320/blogger-image-1698179193.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
Will the 900 ish stitches on the tree be a stitch to far?<br />
Will the quarter stitches be a fraction too much?<br />
Will the 3 shades at the bottom brown our intrepid stitcher off?<br />
<br />
Tune in to the next exciting episode to find out! <br />
<br />
<br />
Happy stitching friends, see you for Theme-Tas-Stitch next week.<br />

Hey folks,</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It's the summer linky party hosted by <a href="http://serendipitousstitching.blogspot.co.uk/2017/08/tenuous-shoe-horn-for-your-loved-ones.html">Jo</a>. This years theme is Loved Ones...</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="200" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ItcrcxE6fTU/WYl7Uj9zo0I/AAAAAAAAOks/Q4Y72kAZJ4QAZ89iifv72K9hXF1l3CXKgCLcBGAs/s200/QL10071_-cindy-shoehorn-4-510x510%2B%25281%2529.jpg" width="200" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you ask me about loved ones, my first thought is always my Nan and Grandad. I do love my kids - my son is funny, sensitive, loyal, clever and a whole other bunch of awesome other stuff. My daughter is crackers, determined, kind and helpful and also very creative. We went to the local country park Friday and made more jewellery. it's always lots of fun and she gave my daughter a bag of beads! - this is Lot's bead collection once we added the new lot of beads. She's very good at designing and makes lovely things. She clearly will be a stash addict and have her own SABLE and she is only 7 now! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3bzcDhh7IoI/WZAvHA32FBI/AAAAAAAAEK8/-27k6YqY6uc-E0QIYiJ7drWuSS3SIYh0wCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image--1962897678.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3bzcDhh7IoI/WZAvHA32FBI/AAAAAAAAEK8/-27k6YqY6uc-E0QIYiJ7drWuSS3SIYh0wCHMYCw/s320/blogger-image--1962897678.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So on to Nan and Grandad, growing up they lived 120 miles away in Surrey, so all time spent with them was so precious. I spent every summer at their house for at least 2 weeks travelling the 120 miles without going on a motorway, all through the Cotswolds, I used to entertain myself by writing down all the pub names along the way - 117 if I remember rightly. We had a dog back in the 80's/90's called Jade who knew when we were about 10 minutes away and would get really excited! They came up 3 or 4 times a year too as Nan's sisters lived locally. Even in my 20's I'd get the 3 trains to their house for the weekend. They were wonderful, wonderful people and I miss them loads.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I think like most people of their generation they had so many hands on skills. Grandad was a carpenter and his shed was an incredible place. He would give me off cuts of wood and help me make stuff. I remember making a sofa for my Barbie and Nan cut up an old shirt to help me make covers for it. When I started making jewellery at 13, Grandad made me a bead storage box. I still have it and I may get it out of the garage and put my stitching tools in. Nan knitted, crocheted and embroidered and was a fantastic gardener. She taught me to embroider and I remember our market had a haberdashery stall and you could buy printed embroidery pieces and threads. She showed me how to do it one summer.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-108mLkhYrtQ/TlDxnXO2y1I/AAAAAAAAACw/3ryMJOCKbcMA38dyh9G9n8BiVAE5p5KjgCPcBGAYYCw/s1600/tray%2Bcloth.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-108mLkhYrtQ/TlDxnXO2y1I/AAAAAAAAACw/3ryMJOCKbcMA38dyh9G9n8BiVAE5p5KjgCPcBGAYYCw/s320/tray%2Bcloth.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I also have a blanket she knitted for me when I was in my late teens as she was making them for the great-grandchildren at the time. mine is made up of all the wool oddments she had in the footstool. I can remember what she used some of the wools for too. (the darker green at the top was a cardi)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4Z6l3RzkGpE/UB5vNGopCNI/AAAAAAAAAyA/jej7BYnwKzIN9zO6GS5W26ufZ-lFn-_0gCPcBGAYYCw/s1600/001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="1600" height="180" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4Z6l3RzkGpE/UB5vNGopCNI/AAAAAAAAAyA/jej7BYnwKzIN9zO6GS5W26ufZ-lFn-_0gCPcBGAYYCw/s320/001.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
After they had both passed my Mum found a needlepoint that Nan had started and brought it home for me to finish. I had to match all the wool as most was missing. I had only been stitching for 6 months maybe and didn't know much about it, but I finished it.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XENe8tjlG1U/UB5veMFhW3I/AAAAAAAAAyI/WvX61zEgoe85GUr8XdS6YF9DkRptOfRwQCPcBGAYYCw/s1600/002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="1600" height="180" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XENe8tjlG1U/UB5veMFhW3I/AAAAAAAAAyI/WvX61zEgoe85GUr8XdS6YF9DkRptOfRwQCPcBGAYYCw/s320/002.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My Grandad was born in Wimbledon but grew up on Box Hill, this picture is one of my favourites and was taken the year before Nan died on Box Hill. I was the youngest of the grandchildren of 4 so I think the time I spent with them was special to them too. I wish they could have met my children because they would have loved them (they got to see all of the other Great-Grandchildren, but I was the only one to get married and Nan died 6 months after I got married, just 7 days after their 58th wedding anniversary. Grandad died 15 months later just 7 weeks before I had Tom, I'm not sure If he knew I was pregnant as he had quite advanced dementia by then, but my son is named after 3 generations of Grandad's family.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-C4lzm0s-5CQ/WZAvBWnnf8I/AAAAAAAAEK4/UWfmH7xarIwpZLoa8DcnGvF86ejDu8SIwCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-832106347.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-C4lzm0s-5CQ/WZAvBWnnf8I/AAAAAAAAEK4/UWfmH7xarIwpZLoa8DcnGvF86ejDu8SIwCHMYCw/s320/blogger-image-832106347.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I've enjoyed reading the other stories that have linked up, so pop over and read them if you haven't done so already.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Thanks for stopping by and happy stitching. </div>

So earlier this month the opportunity arose and after exchanging a questionnaire we made each other a biscornu and included some goodies too.<br />
<br />
Mini told me one of her favourite animals/birds was the peacock so as I couldn't find a small a small feather design that would fit I used the colours from a pretty freebie design from Sew & So that was designed by Lesley Teare (also one of Mini's favourite designers) and made my own simplified version that included almost a full spool of Kreinik!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-rIOd5QCtrcQ/WX4Da2FyzvI/AAAAAAAAEKI/ZIOeKpoUxqY8Jv4G9HTWwfofhSO9NfbIQCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image--192493440.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-rIOd5QCtrcQ/WX4Da2FyzvI/AAAAAAAAEKI/ZIOeKpoUxqY8Jv4G9HTWwfofhSO9NfbIQCHMYCw/s320/blogger-image--192493440.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I did a simple design for the back that incorporated our names and the date.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ENqungIUnLc/WX4DfqJ8ymI/AAAAAAAAEKM/B31tqdDISvE5H4-9-Q3bfPmlZEAQOjrjgCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image--1157558522.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ENqungIUnLc/WX4DfqJ8ymI/AAAAAAAAEKM/B31tqdDISvE5H4-9-Q3bfPmlZEAQOjrjgCHMYCw/s320/blogger-image--1157558522.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I loved making up the parcel and deciding what to put in so I made Mini some beaded items - a bracelet and earrings in her favourite colours and a hook book mark (made at my jewellery party) and a penguin scissor fob as Mini loves penguins too. I included some DMC variegated threads, a local magnet (to add to Mini's collection) and some chocolate all wrapped up in pretty paper, along with some cover kits that Mini chose.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-6q2sQ279p0k/WX4EQbUkQbI/AAAAAAAAEKU/7T-nSw1J9mIMMCI6znXvR41f1sMbw_CIQCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image--698640199.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="277" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-6q2sQ279p0k/WX4EQbUkQbI/AAAAAAAAEKU/7T-nSw1J9mIMMCI6znXvR41f1sMbw_CIQCHMYCw/s320/blogger-image--698640199.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Mini sent me this wonderful parcel with so many lovely things...The biscornu was a design I was familiar with, I stitched it years ago for a gift so I'm really pleased to have my own one now.<br />
<div>
<br />
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Iptv7x6--nc/WX4EVDAhW_I/AAAAAAAAEKY/pMGZ82qyQmswqls4FqR_6mT_hIqGU8AygCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image--221302138.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Iptv7x6--nc/WX4EVDAhW_I/AAAAAAAAEKY/pMGZ82qyQmswqls4FqR_6mT_hIqGU8AygCHMYCw/s320/blogger-image--221302138.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
And the back...</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-pdReA1ZKQsI/WX4ELiYf5CI/AAAAAAAAEKQ/dUauKYzup1QUY7YG0JSGf8WuaVg8Z7ijwCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-2008177238.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-pdReA1ZKQsI/WX4ELiYf5CI/AAAAAAAAEKQ/dUauKYzup1QUY7YG0JSGf8WuaVg8Z7ijwCHMYCw/s320/blogger-image-2008177238.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Mini also included a detailed letter describing what she had selected all these lovely things for me including a Greek magnet and soap, an increadible bird painting from India on a leaf, a LHN chart, Fig cookies, a tin with charms in and a gorgeous cameo needle minder.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ZneM9Onutus/WX4Jnftdg0I/AAAAAAAAEKk/bHDUBUzbnq8q7R8DRQiA8BcRXClyGCTZACHMYCw/s640/blogger-image--1058361274.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ZneM9Onutus/WX4Jnftdg0I/AAAAAAAAEKk/bHDUBUzbnq8q7R8DRQiA8BcRXClyGCTZACHMYCw/s320/blogger-image--1058361274.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
It was so much fun to do an exchange again as it's been over a year since I last did one and I'm looking forward to doing more in the future.<br />
<br />
My next post will be for the summer linky party that Jo is hosting so look out for that.<br />
<br />
Happy stitching friends.<br />

the last picture I posted was a couple of weeks ago for Theme-Tas-Stitch's Just One July...<br />

and a further 806 stitches and 22 french knots later here it is (and in need of washing and ironing!)<br />

Measi also posts a question each month for us and this month it was:<br />

<br />

Well, The anchor sampler was my oldest until earlier this week so now it is...<br />
<br />
Blackwork band sampler from Kincavel Krosses - started spring 2015.<br />

<br />
My most recent is MLady's Greenhouse Sal by Gaynor French of Stitcher Anon and hosted by Lakeside Needlecraft. This was started last month. </div>

</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
They are both going to be focus pieces for August. That will leave 12 days of Christmas as my only pre 2017 active wip (started October 2015)</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I missed last month's check in but the question was<span style="color: purple;"><span style="background-color: white; font-weight: bold;"> </span><span style="font-family: "pt serif" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;"><span style="background-color: white;"><b>Show us your stitching space! Where do you sit, and what is going on around you while you stitch (TV, audiobooks, etc)</b></span></span></span><span style="background-color: white; font-family: "pt serif" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;"><b><span style="color: purple;">?</span></b></span> I wanted to show you my little stitching corner anyway. I usually watch Netflix or something I can happily ignore like a rom com I've seen 100 times before. I sometimes have sport on - I love Tennis and F1 so stitch whilst watching those too along with Olympics and sporting events like that. I watch a bit of floss tube too. I have been known to watch Floss tube on my phone and have sport on TV at the same time whilst stitching!</div>
<div>
<br />
I have gained a little room when we moved last year so I now have the small table too. I keep a small basket of odds and ends in, it usually has floss waiting to go back into my floss boxes, small finishes, hoops, the odd hair band, earphones and my phone tripod. My chart stand stays up on there and you can see I've been working on Tea and Cakes this weekend, there is a little tub for orts and my thread cards for T & C.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-64q1HwGvqx0/WX3__MaqEzI/AAAAAAAAEJw/P6CWG1mjCzMkHbJr0lUgHsj89LZ8M-iAQCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-1861038830.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-64q1HwGvqx0/WX3__MaqEzI/AAAAAAAAEJw/P6CWG1mjCzMkHbJr0lUgHsj89LZ8M-iAQCHMYCw/s320/blogger-image-1861038830.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
I still have my little unit that has things like my button tin, fray check metallic threads and other stitchy stuff. The two storage draws on top hold beads, needles and other small random bits. I have my two pin cushions - the cactus holds mainly pins and the jar has needles and is full of beads for jewellery making. You can see my wip basket full of the fab project bags I picked up at home bargains and my full DMC collection underneath. My favourite Gromit mug hold a half drunk cup of cold coffee (as always).<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-WtcAJThlxes/WX4A1dx0UJI/AAAAAAAAEJ8/HDKwC-yZ4UUdjI3I8Tg0e8yzJyCI1FIEQCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-772657354.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-WtcAJThlxes/WX4A1dx0UJI/AAAAAAAAEJ8/HDKwC-yZ4UUdjI3I8Tg0e8yzJyCI1FIEQCHMYCw/s320/blogger-image-772657354.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
So that's all about my stitchy corner too. One more blog post to write and I'm all caught up!!<br />
<br />
<br />
Hope you all had a great weekend. Happy Stiching<br />

Hello friends<br />

<br />
I can't believe it's link up time already so here is this month's Theme-Tas-Stitch link up post.</div>
<div>
<br />
<a href="https://www.blogger.com/null" name="more"></a><br /></div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This months theme was...</div>
</div>
<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #cc0000; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: medium; font-weight: bold;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #cc0000; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: medium; font-weight: bold;">Just one July -</span></span><br />

<span style="background-color: white; color: blue; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Pick a focus piece for the month and see how much progress you can make - show us before and after pictures if you can.</span></blockquote>
<br />
Well its been Just One gift after another for this month. I was really hoping I would be able to finish my Anchor Sampler because let's face it - it's been hanging around for too long now and I have less than 1000 stitches to go. that will be coming out today<br />
Here is where i left it last time...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-BUxmQDQAsfs/WRmbTZvv7zI/AAAAAAAAEC4/Fgf5D4ggFBMzhI0H29RK6Wy5xbO8-Ii7ACPcBGAYYCw/s1600/blogger-image-305000170.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" height="240" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-BUxmQDQAsfs/WRmbTZvv7zI/AAAAAAAAEC4/Fgf5D4ggFBMzhI0H29RK6Wy5xbO8-Ii7ACPcBGAYYCw/s320/blogger-image-305000170.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
And after one evening of stitching<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-cfb53ejbhF8/WXMWbURrPXI/AAAAAAAAEHc/ZpyAAy03e1Yee73DaL-ObUC_nxtjPxH2gCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-2031343050.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-cfb53ejbhF8/WXMWbURrPXI/AAAAAAAAEHc/ZpyAAy03e1Yee73DaL-ObUC_nxtjPxH2gCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-2031343050.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<div>
The right flowerpot is done and the second butterfly. That just leaves 726 stitches for the bottom border and 22 French knots in the trellis and snail feelers. I'm aiming for a finish this weekend! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I did get 5 cards made too for teachers at DD's school. I started them in Maynia...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7Sambvs8z9Y/WU5C1mHbLSI/AAAAAAAAEGw/sd5vsLdlYjQ7vRKTWhHxZpHBRrEFm56owCPcBGAYYCw/s1600/blogger-image--318512978.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7Sambvs8z9Y/WU5C1mHbLSI/AAAAAAAAEGw/sd5vsLdlYjQ7vRKTWhHxZpHBRrEFm56owCPcBGAYYCw/s320/blogger-image--318512978.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
And here are the finished cards...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-EhD2Zph29XY/WXJmdZlRlCI/AAAAAAAAEHE/UVroHLOQzo8wTnV_QbXB7gXL9a2SgrW9QCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-6676246.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-EhD2Zph29XY/WXJmdZlRlCI/AAAAAAAAEHE/UVroHLOQzo8wTnV_QbXB7gXL9a2SgrW9QCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-6676246.jpg" /></a></div>

<br />
I had a biscornu exchange too with Mini, but I'll save that for another post.<br />
<br />
I'm looking forward to seeing what you've all been up to. Here's the linky.<br />

The theme for next month is...</div>
<div>
<br />
<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #cc0000; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: medium; font-weight: bold;">Animalia August -</span></span><br />

<span style="background-color: white; color: blue; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Give some love to those projects with our furry or feathered friends.</span></blockquote>
<br />
Tiff has had the idea of doing Dragons so there are a few of us going in that direction. I'm also hoping to do a bit on my Mill Hill Squirrelly kit too.<br />
<br />
Good luck to all the mums embarking on the summer holidays!<br />
<br />
Happy stitching<br />

Hello Friends,</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Over a week late for GG this month hosted by the fabulous Jo at serendipidous Stitching where we show our stitching that uses gifted items or that will be gifted to others. I just don't know where the month has gone. I have managed to stitch a a fair bit of stitching in including this for my best friend's birthday. It's a long standing joke that she always buys me jelly beans and I always buy her flying saucers. It was a chart from the Emma Congdon chart book that came with Cross Stitch Crazy recently and I changed the word Chocolate to Jelly beans and the brown stitching for green as it's my favourite colour and charted pink worked well as it is Sarah's favourite.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-PcgQFBee2K4/WU5Cw8QlOZI/AAAAAAAAEGk/k52RrROD4qs4Je2lISj9qTfgJmAiUOrFACHMYCw/s640/blogger-image--289948653.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-PcgQFBee2K4/WU5Cw8QlOZI/AAAAAAAAEGk/k52RrROD4qs4Je2lISj9qTfgJmAiUOrFACHMYCw/s640/blogger-image--289948653.jpg"></a></div><br></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I've been stitching on the Tea and Cakes Sal from Lakeside Needlecraft. It's a free sal designed by Durene Jones and I've stitched it on gifted fabric (14ct and 28ct over one) and with mostly gifted threads.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-NW-AyabgpIw/WU5D1QmRRvI/AAAAAAAAEG0/TDZKBTR1-iAlX0N5EhXQLmTsg27QLy84wCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-2059435024.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-NW-AyabgpIw/WU5D1QmRRvI/AAAAAAAAEG0/TDZKBTR1-iAlX0N5EhXQLmTsg27QLy84wCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-2059435024.jpg"></a></div><br></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I've started stitching the teacher cards for DD, I though I was going to get away with just 2 as DS is now at high school, but DD has a different teacher once a week and extra phonics lessons with a 4th so 4 it is!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-7Sambvs8z9Y/WU5C1mHbLSI/AAAAAAAAEGo/5H5jHYIsGJAZrfI1GJXBaOdmUK0klbC4ACHMYCw/s640/blogger-image--318512978.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-7Sambvs8z9Y/WU5C1mHbLSI/AAAAAAAAEGo/5H5jHYIsGJAZrfI1GJXBaOdmUK0klbC4ACHMYCw/s640/blogger-image--318512978.jpg"></a></div><br></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Lastly I was very lucky to win this lovely chart from Mii. I can't wait to stitch this! </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Jzul8J9_97k/WU5C6Z4h0lI/AAAAAAAAEGs/OFZynvgsR4k6MHNdVToRsNKErMRusWu3gCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image--158873809.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Jzul8J9_97k/WU5C6Z4h0lI/AAAAAAAAEGs/OFZynvgsR4k6MHNdVToRsNKErMRusWu3gCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image--158873809.jpg"></a></div><br></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I hope you've all had a great stitchy month.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Kg2kwhAIYqg/WUuYoBSXwQI/AAAAAAAAEGU/bvGHQK6GEQgxZWvBsUhclP944o0qqCKvACHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-778035452.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Kg2kwhAIYqg/WUuYoBSXwQI/AAAAAAAAEGU/bvGHQK6GEQgxZWvBsUhclP944o0qqCKvACHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-778035452.jpg" /></a></div>
<div>
<div>
<span style="color: blue; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="color: rgb(204 , 0 , 0); font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"></span></div>
<div>
Sorry it's late. When I signed up for my business administration diploma I don't think I appreciated how much time it would actually take up. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So this month's theme was Jardin June and the challenge was to stitch on a floral or garden themed piece. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I've been stitching M'lady's Sweet Greenhouse designed by Gaynor of Stitcher Anon for the Lakeside Needlecraft sal. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-8xh_g21biag/WUuUkEoH7lI/AAAAAAAAEF4/Up7QaaaEqdcUhbCr2-zkK_plsCxm1oa4wCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-462238319.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-8xh_g21biag/WUuUkEoH7lI/AAAAAAAAEF4/Up7QaaaEqdcUhbCr2-zkK_plsCxm1oa4wCHMYCw/s640/blogger-image-462238319.jpg" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I've done a bit more than that now but I'm currently sat on an airfield in Leicestershire watching crash tests for a work thing so I can't take an updated photo. It's such a lovely design. The flowers and palette that have been released so far are so pretty. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I did flowers on these little Lizzie Kate freebies and <span style="font-family: "helvetica neue light" , , "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;">started some butterfly and flower cards that are diary of an Edwardian lady cover gifts from magazines. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue light" , , "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: "helvetica neue light" , , "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: "helvetica neue light" , , "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;">
So what have you been up to? </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: "helvetica neue light" , , "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: "helvetica neue light" , , "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;">
Link up below and share your garden goodness! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: "helvetica neue light" , , "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;">

<br />
<br />
Just in case you are not following the blogger of the week blog set up by the marvellous Jo at <a href="http://serendipitousstitching.blogspot.co.uk/">Serendipitous Stitching</a>. It's a fab idea carrying on the tradition from the now defunct Cross Stitch Collection Magazine where each week we get to meet a wonderfully talented stitcher and learn all about them.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="Blogger of the Week" height="227" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-0XsaCv2Gkf0/WLb1A-9zxxI/AAAAAAAAM8s/el8ovyogdWkeAzAlVzMqJhT4NypB_6DAQCK4B/s400/Header%2B%25282%2529.png" width="400" /></div>
<br />
This week just so happens to be me, so if you want to find out more about me or some other really great stitchers then head on over to <a href="http://ourbloggeroftheweek.blogspot.co.uk/2017/06/kerry-from-ramblings-of-biscornu-addict.html">Blogger of the week</a><br />
<br />
Have a great stitchy weekend!Kerryp77http://www.blogger.com/profile/12137898070664401735noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1761942675302437526.post-37823879648921888502017-06-01T15:04:00.000+01:002017-06-01T15:04:07.154+01:00My first MAYnia!!I did it, I did Maynia, just 2 months after my own March Madness!<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
For those who don't know Maynia is a SAL held every May in the Facebook group Stitch Maynia. The idea started as 15 new starts for the first 15 days of May. Now it is very much whatever is manic to you. I chose to do 8 new starts and 9 wips for the first 17 days and then to work on the same projects, rotating daily for the rest of the month. - well that was the plan. I found the tea and cakes SAL and M'lady's Sweet Greenhouse SAL over at Lakeside needlecraft and the second round of rotation went out the window! I did manage the first 17 days though...</div>
<div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /></div>
<div>
Here are my new starts...</div>
<div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-18dmGAB_6vU/WSCIb-PjoWI/AAAAAAAAED8/6hknczYW1l0WnCcuVft3-tsMozzl1CnZwCHM/s640/blogger-image--1947254111.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-18dmGAB_6vU/WSCIb-PjoWI/AAAAAAAAED8/6hknczYW1l0WnCcuVft3-tsMozzl1CnZwCHM/s640/blogger-image--1947254111.jpg" /></a></div>
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Days 11 and 12 from 12 days of Christmas. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue light" , , "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;">Squirrelly - Mill Hill</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
May - Palko Lap</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
A hug and blessings by Lizzie Kate</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Bee Keeper - The Drawn Thread</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Christmas houses - Maria Diaz (Cross Stitcher kit)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
And all the wips that you've seen before</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-A4Bp2zkNALA/WSCIWgGtuaI/AAAAAAAAED4/guY0fTdqCQUZjOzdOj2es_Fa1lQWV9iLACHM/s640/blogger-image-1611970057.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-A4Bp2zkNALA/WSCIWgGtuaI/AAAAAAAAED4/guY0fTdqCQUZjOzdOj2es_Fa1lQWV9iLACHM/s640/blogger-image-1611970057.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
And I even got 4 finishes in the first 17 days. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-uIUEH1HGWCk/WSCIgl7T2hI/AAAAAAAAEEA/QnlYttMzF7EighHY39w9zVU_UkO9mhM6QCHM/s640/blogger-image-1680932925.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-uIUEH1HGWCk/WSCIgl7T2hI/AAAAAAAAEEA/QnlYttMzF7EighHY39w9zVU_UkO9mhM6QCHM/s640/blogger-image-1680932925.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I now have a total of 16 wips with it being very likely up to 20 by the end of June. Now I know some of you out there will be laughing at only having that many when there are stitchers out there with hundreds, but I intend to have all of them finished by the end of the year. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I've loved doing Maynia and if that wasn't mad enough Jo and I are doing The Longest Day again this year when it was how many we could stitch on on June 21st - I plan to take leave that day and I'm going to spoil myself with stitching! Feel free to join us! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Happy stitching</div>

<div>
I've had finishes on blackwork birdsong, Celtic bird too but I've shown you pics multiple times! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
so on to the question posed by Measi...<br />
<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: purple;">Which designer’s projects do you absolutely love, but are too intimidated to try?</span></span><b></b><i></i><u></u><strike></strike></div>
<div>
<b></b><i></i><u></u><strike></strike><span style="color: purple;"></span><br /></div>
<div>
<span style="color: black;">I'd love to try hardanger but the though of cutting threads terrifys me! As for designers...There isn't anyone who intimidates me - I tackled fractionals, blended threads and French knots in my first 3 cross stitches so that doesn't bother me and really enjoy trying out speciality stitches. Cost is the main thing that deters me - I'm not much of a Miribillia person, although I've seen 4 Nora Corbetts I like but at £100 to kit a project I don't love it that much. I've tried a HAED, I was too lazy to do it 90 thread colours and confetti urgh! I have a very long wish list of projects I'd love to stitch so if I like it and it falls within my small budget I'll stitch it!</span><br />
<br />
Have a great stitchy June! <b></b><br />

<br />
It's been one of those weeks! DD has had a viral infection so had 4 days off school and spent almost a whole week crashed on the sofa watching endless Cbeebies. Shes's nearly back to her normal self. So throw in working (very slowly) from home and masses to do for college, it's been exhausting.<br />
<br />
<span style="text-align: justify;">So on to Theme-Tas-Stitch. This month's theme was:</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: justify;"><a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4TDzADujKNk/WPjVNpZ16RI/AAAAAAAAEAg/w9CVkvtSxIk2F4TYK3IobUWnblrIV9JJQCPcB/s1600/Theme-tas-Stitch.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4TDzADujKNk/WPjVNpZ16RI/AAAAAAAAEAg/w9CVkvtSxIk2F4TYK3IobUWnblrIV9JJQCPcB/s1600/Theme-tas-Stitch.jpg" /></a></span></div>
<br />
<span style="text-align: justify;"><br /></span>
<span style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #cc0000; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: medium; font-weight: bold;"></span></span><br />
<a name='more'></a><span style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #cc0000; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: medium; font-weight: bold;">Monochrome May -</span></span><br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq" style="color: #858585; font-family: "Cherry Cream Soda"; font-size: 13px; font-weight: bold;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: blue; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Choose a colour and stitch on your projects that contain that one colour.</span></blockquote>
So my take on this was to pick various projects and to chose one colour from it to stitch on with.<br />
I didn't do masses as I got bitten by the MAYnia bug and I've done a different project every day. So here are my stitches...<br />
<br />
I worked black thread on Maia Giraffes. But it is literally a black line so so not worth a photo and Blackwork seasons from Kincavel Krosses.<br />
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-m5SetTF6I3o/WSB_tSfPIfI/AAAAAAAAEDU/FuaXoVFO5t87KsxJxuGlyvGzP6Cmea37ACHM/s640/blogger-image--941657353.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-m5SetTF6I3o/WSB_tSfPIfI/AAAAAAAAEDU/FuaXoVFO5t87KsxJxuGlyvGzP6Cmea37ACHM/s640/blogger-image--941657353.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
Green thread (470) on Days 10,11 and 12 of 12 days of Christmas from Plum Street Samplers.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-oJzzREowqdY/WSB_jwP1bKI/AAAAAAAAEDM/uYl71zq-eh0E0BsNsC2dSF1JYOQjjWc5gCHM/s640/blogger-image-1853140136.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-oJzzREowqdY/WSB_jwP1bKI/AAAAAAAAEDM/uYl71zq-eh0E0BsNsC2dSF1JYOQjjWc5gCHM/s640/blogger-image-1853140136.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
and Green 3346 on Just Nan's Spring Frills.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-gyq0zNXqi44/WSB_oa1NhCI/AAAAAAAAEDQ/iNbecR7blqYr9J67oKNTdn2h7QGGpH_uACHM/s640/blogger-image--470038698.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-gyq0zNXqi44/WSB_oa1NhCI/AAAAAAAAEDQ/iNbecR7blqYr9J67oKNTdn2h7QGGpH_uACHM/s640/blogger-image--470038698.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
I stitched gold on Blackwork Bird Song by DMC and added gold beads too.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-StvYJer1usc/WSB_ahaBiDI/AAAAAAAAEDE/A4KLmVxaqIkouoHsbT0JhRsAsykFxhRRgCHM/s640/blogger-image--1921908940.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-StvYJer1usc/WSB_ahaBiDI/AAAAAAAAEDE/A4KLmVxaqIkouoHsbT0JhRsAsykFxhRRgCHM/s640/blogger-image--1921908940.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
I also did the gold knot on Celtic Bird by Textile Heritage. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-9mZQSHQbgpE/WSB_fKPJDnI/AAAAAAAAEDI/X7SfbPhFgugylsVyYILyfotQEdL0rAh5gCHM/s640/blogger-image-1805681363.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-9mZQSHQbgpE/WSB_fKPJDnI/AAAAAAAAEDI/X7SfbPhFgugylsVyYILyfotQEdL0rAh5gCHM/s640/blogger-image-1805681363.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
A bit of a shoehorn as I stitched 3 projects with variegated threads too... It all came from one skein so it counts right?!<br />
<br />
May by Palko Lap stitched with Anchor 1345</div>
<div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-SMdxBjdaEdg/WSCCsVcC8pI/AAAAAAAAEDo/avES_zG1J0YQ2SIOYN4lh9wJZDvR52oXACHM/s640/blogger-image-287739626.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-SMdxBjdaEdg/WSCCsVcC8pI/AAAAAAAAEDo/avES_zG1J0YQ2SIOYN4lh9wJZDvR52oXACHM/s640/blogger-image-287739626.jpg" /></a></div>

Birthdays, college work (essay on employment rights anyone!) and illness all contributing factors along with the desire just to stitch!<br />
<br />
I did loads on Blackwork birdsong which I know is a very new wip. I just need to stitch the metallics and beads that I'm substituting for the french knots.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-MY1xqDX26cw/WQ31ssGnj_I/AAAAAAAAECM/pRPy7Fj5eeg5KeNe1mNPwEbdjPTPjkcdwCHM/s640/blogger-image--407073784.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-MY1xqDX26cw/WQ31ssGnj_I/AAAAAAAAECM/pRPy7Fj5eeg5KeNe1mNPwEbdjPTPjkcdwCHM/s640/blogger-image--407073784.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
Progress too on Anchor sampler - I got the right border completed. I had from the green horizontal border down to do.<br />
<br />

12 days of Christmas - a start on day 10.<br />
