Welcome

As the song from Gilmore Girls says “So welcome to my little corner of the world”. It’s all about me and my crafting – focusing around my love for stitching and sewing along with anything else that catches my eye. So welcome, grab a coffee and happy reading.

Just one July

Hi folks

Thanks for all the lovely comments about my mini stitching marathon, welcome too to my new followers - I'm inching ever closer to 100 followers. Eek.

So I've decided to join in with Justine's "Just one July" My chosen piece is the Anchor Traditional Sampler which I recently got back out.

So here is where I got to last time. The total design has around 13,000 stitches in and I've around 9,000 to go. I hope to get 5,100 done in July, which will see the top half done.

Good luck if you're taking part too. I'll try and do a weekly progress update throughout July.

  2. Good luck with JOJ! You have picked a lovely design; are half of the 5k stitches in the house alone? :) I am taking part too; it's comforting to just focus on one thing.
