Here is the kit you could win, It has two reels of thread, a selection of cotton fabrics to make the hexagons as well as a few made up. There is a packet of papers (I cheat and buy mine from the quilting shop) but you can use one to make your own template and make your own as Laura suggests in her tutorial. I've sewn 3 hexagons together to start you off too.
So to win the kit you need to do two things...
- Be (or become) a follower
- Comment on this post telling me what piece of fabric you would put into your quilt that most represents you? I have a couple of giraffes and lots of green in my quilt to give you an idea.
Good luck and thank you for reading my blog.
Ps don't worry if you don't fancy the quilt kit, It's my blogversary soon so I'll have another giveaway then!
Ooooh so many - I'd have to start with something pink and dotty, then something football, something to represent the textile history in my hometown. Oh and giraffes are always good too :-)
ReplyDeleteYou've got me thinking now....
Aww such a sweet giveaway..thank you dear..
ReplyDeleteThis is something that I wanted to learn and do from a very long time..
Hmmm the flowers. Bees and happy scene represent me :)
Thank you
Love cucki x
I would have to have a lot of butterflies and cats. I already have a nice selection of both those themes in my stash. :)
ReplyDeleteI feel a bit naughty for entering this! Can I!?! If I won I would give this to Mum! And I would give her dotty fabric to remind her of me! Rather dotty ^_^ And I will be using some swirly and beautiful fabric in mine to represent her ^_^ No worries if you think...no! you most certainly cannot enter this Steph! you have your own kit which lovely Laura gave you! ^_^
ReplyDeleteXOX
Would you mind if I entered - it feels wrong after turning down your kind offer of fabric to help with my hexie cushion - but I didnt want you to think I'd left that comments hoping you would offer (if you know what I mean - my mind works in funny ways) - So at least if its a lucky dip I'd feel better gah! hope this makes sense xxx
